Bubbleroom
Suppliers & Factories
Bubbleroom does not own any factories but collaborates with independent textile producers in Asia and Europe. We believe in close and long-term partnerships with carefully selected suppliers and continuously work to build and develop strong, secure business relationships.
Social Responsibility
Bubbleroom's focus is centered around people, and our goal is to make a positive difference for all individuals who are directly or indirectly affected by our operations—from the people who grow the cotton for our jeans, to the customers who purchase our goods.
Supplier Contracts
Bubbleroom's supplier contract, the Supplier’s Guide, is a comprehensive agreement that is updated annually in line with new legal requirements and developed processes. The contract, which all suppliers must sign before a collaboration can begin, includes our Code of Conduct, Chemical Restrictions List, Material & Animal Welfare Policy, and Sustainability Guide. In 2024, the agreement was expanded to include requirements for climate and energy assessments to accelerate our climate efforts further.
Membership in amfori BSCI
Social responsibility in the supply chain means that we, as a company, take responsibility for the social and ethical aspects of our operations. This is something we work on through daily and close cooperation with our suppliers, but also through our membership in the international organization amfori BSCI, where BSCI stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative.
The organization aims to improve working conditions in global supply chains. By providing guidelines and tools for members, amfori strives to promote human rights, good working conditions, and social responsibility.
Code of Conduct
As members of amfori, we use their Code of Conduct, also known as the Code of Conduct. The code is based on the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. By using the same Code of Conduct across all member companies, clarity is created towards the supplier base, which simplifies development work in production and promotes cooperation among member companies.
The Code of Conduct is part of Bubbleroom’s supplier agreement that all our suppliers must read, approve, and sign before we initiate any collaboration. Compliance with the code is monitored through regular inspections by approved third-party companies.

Follow-up & Audits
Conducting independent audits is an essential part of our work to improve working conditions and promote ethical labor practices in our suppliers' factories. It allows us to actively ensure that our suppliers meet high standards for social responsibility and environmental care.
During the audits, factories are evaluated across 13 areas, with each area rated on a scale from A to E. These areas provide a comprehensive picture of whether the factory meets the Code of Conduct's requirements. Audits are carried out by independent third-party companies to ensure objectivity and impartiality in the assessment.
If any of the 13 key areas receive non-compliance, a timeline is set for addressing the deviation. The action period is a maximum of one year, but in cases of more urgent deviations, a tighter timeline is established.

The International Accord
In 2023, Bubbleroom signed The International Accord and the Pakistan Accord, agreements between a large number of international brands and trade unions created to ensure safe working environments where no employees should fear fires, building collapses, or other accidents that can be prevented with reasonable health and safety measures. As part of production startup in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Safety Agreement was also signed in 2024.
Over the past decade, the safety agreement has transformed factory safety in Bangladesh, eliminating major fire, electrical, and structural risks in hundreds of factories through unprecedented collective measures. In 2024, we phased out the Pakistan Accord since we no longer produce products in Pakistan.
Supplier List
The textile industry's supply chain is incredibly complex and often involves multiple intermediaries and numerous subcontractors, making traceability and transparency challenging. We are aware of this complexity but also recognize that transparency is essential for effective sustainability efforts from both an environmental and social perspective.
Currently, we have reliable information about our suppliers and the factories that produce our final products, which we share below in full. The information is updated twice a year and includes supplier names, factory addresses, and the number of employees.
